Opting out
Reply to any message and say stop, use the unsubscribe link in the message, or email josh@d1hoopsanalytics.com from the address you want removed.
Requests are processed promptly and in all cases within ten business days. Removed addresses are added to a permanent suppression list so they are not contacted again. No reason is needed and we will not ask you to confirm twice.
What we send and to whom
Individual business correspondence to coaches, athletic directors, and program staff about our basketball analytics service, sent at low volume to professional addresses in a work context. We do not run consumer marketing lists and we do not send bulk promotional mail.
Address sources
Publicly listed school athletic department pages and program staff directories, plus addresses given to us directly. We do not buy, rent, sell, or trade email lists, and we do not harvest addresses from unrelated sources or from the open web.
Sending standards
- Accurate sender name, from address, and reply-to address on every message.
- Subject lines that match the contents of the message.
- No forged headers, no misleading routing information, no disguising of message origin.
- A valid physical mailing address in commercial messages.
- A clear and working opt-out in every commercial message.
- Authenticated sending with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC in place on our domains.
- Compliance with the US CAN-SPAM Act and equivalent requirements where they apply.
Reporting a violation
If you received a message you believe breaks this policy, or mail that appears to impersonate our domain or brand, forward it to josh@d1hoopsanalytics.com with full headers if you have them. Every report is investigated and answered.
